FAQs
Common Questions
Redyrect is free to try for seven days. You can cancel at any time before your trial ends, and you will not be charged.
Yes. You can upgrade to a higher level plan at any time by going to your iPhone settings (not in the Redyrect App) -->YourName (the top section) --> Subscriptions --> Redyrect --> See All Plans.
VIP Codes
VIP codes allow a caller with a customized VIP code to reach you at any time, from any phone, after being prompted to enter their VIP code.
VIP codes give a caller the ability to break through your scheduled down times by entering a unique code that you have given them. The caller simply enters their VIP code when prompted, and their name will be displayed on your phone alerting you to their call.
Tap on the VIP Codes icon from the menu at the bottom of the screen. Tap the “+” sign, add your contact, set the display name that will be shown when they call, set up their personalized VIP Code, with the default being their phone number. You can also set an expiration date for this code from this screen.
Not yet. But we are working on getting this added as an in-app purchase. For now, you will need to upgrade your plan to get more VIP Codes.
At this time, additional minutes can only be purchased by upgrading your plan level.
Let your contacts know that you have created a VIP Code for them at the time you create the code by selecting to send an automatic text message to this person. You can edit this message before it is sent. Of course, you can also tell them, email them or send them your own text message.
You can set up multiple people under one VIP Code if you wish by creating a group, such as “family members”. This allows you to add multiple people to one VIP Code. The contacts in this group act as one instance, so the name displayed will be the same for all contacts, etc. Simply tap on the Group icon in the menu at the bottom of your screen and follow the prompts.
Schedules
The scheduling feature allows you to set up one-time or repeating blocks of time when you are only available to take calls from certain people with an approved caller list.
When you create a new schedule, simply add individuals or groups that you've created in your contact list by following the prompts to "Add People" or "Add Groups".
An approved caller list lets you decide who can reach you during scheduled timeframes that you establish. This tool is especially beneficial for establishing true work/life balance and for providing safety for your dependents by limiting their interactions with unknown callers.
Voicemail/Voicemail Sharing
Within the voicemail section, select the blue circle icon on the bottom right and click the “+” to add a new recipient of your voicemails.
Absolutely. You can add as many people as you would like to receive your voicemail.
Your voicemails are now available and saved in the Redyrect app's voicemail section. They can easily be shared and exported if needed.
Troubleshooting
Make sure the schedule you have set is “on” and the time falls within the schedule. If the schedule has a green star next to it, it's actively running and you should not be disturbed during this timeframe.
Simply slide the voicemail you want to mark as unread to the right side of the screen.
All of your voicemails are saved in the Redyrect app in the voicemail section. They can easily be shared and exported if needed.
To ensure that your schedules are active, the Master Schedule Switch must be turned on in the settings. From there, you can tell if a schedule is active by the color of the clock to the left of the schedule. An orange clock means the schedule is not currently active. You will see the orange clock when the current time falls outside of the schedule, when you have switched off the master schedule switch in settings and when you first create the schedule. Depending on your phone’s data reception, it may stay orange until your phone has a good connection. A grey clock displays when you have manually turned off a schedule.
You can either download the Redyrect App again, go to Settings -> Voicemail Setup-> Reset Voicemail. Be sure to select your cell phone provider first, as the codes you will need to enter depend on your provider.
You can disable all Redyrect blocking features by toggling off the master schedule switch. You can find the switch by tapping “settings” in the Redyrect app’s menu at the bottom of the app.
